1. All living beings want happiness and do not want suffering.
2. All living beings are therefore the same with this wish.
3. Our own happiness depends on other living beings.
4. Do I know who made one item of the clothing I am wearing?
5. Do I know the people who grew and prepared the food I am eating?
6. Do I know the workers who built the housing I am now living in?
7. Have I ever thought about how much my own happiness comes from people I never met?
8. Hard feelings and times are part of life. No one escapes difficulties. Even so, I still choose happiness.
9. Knowing the truth of this, I make a true wish for myself and all others who are just like me, who want happiness and not suffering, to always enjoy happiness and be free of suffering.
